In March, fabricators installed a Cayuga Health wrap on one of Cortland Transit's 16-passenger buses.

A full wrap is an advertisement that covers both sides and the back of a bus, everything except the front cab.

The wraps stay on for two years and they are a good way for an advertiser to get maximum exposure as the buses travel around town. The bus chosen for the Cayuga Med wrap, previously had a Square Deal wrap on it.

Although Cortland Transit pulls from the fleet as needed, this bus that this ad appears on will be predominately used for Dial-A-Ride runs. Dial-a-Ride is Cortland Transit's on-demand service, which means the bus would be used for calls throughout the day, at any time of day within the company's Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. shift.
If you're interested in advertising on a county-owned bus, contact County Administrator Rob Corpora at 607-753-5083.
