Do you need a ride to a health-related need that is not emergency transportation?
Perhaps you've recently been hospitalized and need transportation to the store to get groceries. Or maybe your benefits are expiring and you need a trip to get them renewed. Or maybe you've enrolled in a fitness or healthy eating class and have no way of getting there.
Through an expansion of Way2Go Cortland's Supports For Health program, we can now arrange rides for these trips and many others. The program providing these crucial trips is funded by the Mother Cabrini Foundation and is just another of Seven Valleys Health Coalition's many offerings.
The program works by way of a referral from a healthcare provider or social worker, for example, though there are other referral options.
