May 17-23 is National Bike to Work Week-and you can be part of it!
With temperatures expected to rise into the 70's in Cortland next week, it will be a good time to substitute a car ride or two, for a bicycle trip. For the very ambitious whose circumstances allow, there is always the option to commute to work via bicycle, but even small changes make a difference.
Maybe a trip to run an errand can be accomplished on bicycle, or an outing for exercise can take place on the bike.
However you choose to acknowledge the week, you will be part of the movement for safer streets, more connected communities and a healthier planet, according to the National Bike League.
If you participate, share your story with us. Message us through the Way2Go Cortland Facebook page, or email firstname.lastname@example.org, and if you post about your movement on social media during the week, always tag #BikeThere and #Way2GoCortland.
